Usage & Plan
Plan tiers, entitlement limits, the monthly voice-minute commitment, and invoices
Lemu bills on a plan + monthly voice-minute commitment model: a fixed monthly platform fee gets you a plan's feature set and usage limits, and on top of that you commit to a number of voice minutes each month at a per-minute rate. Everything here lives under Usage & Plan in the dashboard sidebar (app.lemuai.com/usage-pricing), which has three tabs: Account usage, Upgrade plan, and Invoices.
There's no wallet or token balance to top up. If you've used Lemu before and remember buying "tokens" or "recharge packs," that system has been retired — usage is now covered by your monthly minute commitment, described below.
Plans#
| Plan | Price (INR/month) | Voice agents | Concurrency | Journeys | CRM contacts | KB documents | Integrations | Voice minutes / month |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | ₹0 | 1 | 1 | — | 500 | 5 | 1 | 2,000 |
| Basic | ₹999 | 2 | 1 | 2 | 10,000 | 50 | 3 | 2,000 |
| Growth | ₹4,999 | 10 | 5–10 | 10 | 100,000 | 250 | 10 | 20,000 |
| Pro | ₹9,999 | 20 | 10–30 | 20 | 250,000 | 2,000 | Unlimited | 50,000 |
| Scale | Custom | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
Exact numbers are set in the plans console and can change — the table above reflects what's live today. Scale is a custom, sales-assisted plan for high-volume operations and isn't available to self-serve subscribe to; contact your account team to move onto it. User seats are unlimited on every plan.
Growth and Pro also unlock feature flags the lower tiers don't have: A/B testing (Growth+), voice cloning (Growth+), and AI-driven advanced analytics (Pro+). AI Copilot is available from Basic upward.
Billing is monthly by default; switch to Billed yearly on the Upgrade plan tab for one upfront annual charge at roughly 17% off the monthly rate.
Upgrading and downgrading#
Upgrading to a higher plan takes effect immediately. Moving to a lower plan — including back to Free — isn't a one-click switch: click Cancel plan first, which lets your current plan run through to the end of the billing period, and then subscribe to the lower plan once it lapses. This avoids losing the time you've already paid for on the higher tier.
Entitlements and limits#
Every plan enforces a set of entitlements — numeric caps (voice agents, concurrent calls, journeys, CRM contacts, knowledge base documents, integrations, user seats) and feature flags (voice cloning, A/B testing, AI Copilot, advanced analytics). Hitting a numeric cap, or trying to use a feature your plan doesn't include, blocks the action and shows an upgrade prompt rather than silently failing partway through — for example, creating a new voice agent past your agent limit, or inviting a teammate past your seat count on the Team page.
The Account usage tab shows where you stand against every entitlement on your current plan, with a Manage link next to each one that jumps to the relevant part of the product (agents, journeys, contacts, telephony settings, and so on).
Voice minutes and billing#
Voice minutes work differently from the other entitlements: instead of a fixed allowance, you choose how many minutes to commit to each month, anywhere from 500 minutes up to your plan's cap, using the slider under Manage minutes. Your recurring monthly charge is the platform fee plus committed minutes × your plan's per-minute rate — the rate itself is fixed per plan and gets cheaper the higher your plan (Basic minutes cost more per minute than Pro minutes).
Committed minutes refill at the start of every billing cycle and don't roll over — unused minutes from one month don't carry into the next. Changing your commitment takes effect differently depending on direction:
- Increasing it charges you the prorated difference immediately and credits the extra minutes right away.
- Decreasing it takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle — there's no refund for the current period.
If you use more voice minutes than you've committed to in a month, that's a signal to raise your commitment (or upgrade, if you're already at your plan's cap) rather than an automatic overage charge.
New organizations get a small signup bonus of voice minutes to try the product with before committing to a paid plan.
Payment and invoicing#
Payments are processed through Cashfree for organizations billing in INR, and through Paddle (Lemu's merchant of record) for other currencies. If a renewal payment fails, your subscription moves to a short grace period during which your plan keeps working normally; if it isn't resolved before the grace period ends, the organization is moved back to the Free plan.
The Invoices tab is where GST-registered Indian organizations set their GSTIN, registered legal name, and billing address for tax invoicing, and where every past invoice and receipt — platform fee and minute charges alike — can be downloaded as a PDF.
Usage reporting#
For call-level and campaign-level reporting rather than billing, see Reports & Usage — the Usage This Period panel on the Account usage tab (calls, talk time, and minutes billed per day) is a billing-focused summary of the same underlying call data.
