API Keys
Create API Keys to trigger voice agent calls and push contact or campaign data into Lemu programmatically.
You can create and manage API keys at https://app.lemuai.com/api-keys.
API keys authenticate requests to the Lemu API. The two main uses are:
- Triggering an outbound call from an external system (a CRM, n8n, Zapier, or your own backend) by calling an API Trigger node's endpoint with a phone number and optional context. See Trigger an Outbound Call.
- Pushing contact or campaign data into Lemu — for example uploading contacts for a campaign.
To generate a key, go to /api-keys and click New.
Please note that you must copy and keep the API key secretly, since this is the only time that you would be able to copy it. If you lose it, you can always delete that key (if it's not being used anywhere) and create a new one.
